On 23 April 2026 we were in Offanengo (CR), at COIM Spa (Via Ricengo 21/23), for the in-person conference “The ingredients of packaging – Adhesives, coatings, lacquers, inks and varnishes vs FCM and PPWR legislation” promoted by the Istituto Italiano Imballaggio.
A day dedicated to the components that finish packaging and their compliance: the recyclability, reuse and compostability goals of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, food contact materials requirements, PFAS, bisphenols, functional barriers and the new European regulation on plastic pellets, including a visit to COIM’s new research and development laboratory.
